By using Stark Drama, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Stark Drama is an independent educational resource created to support secondary school Drama students. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any specific exam board (including AQA, Edexcel, OCR, or CCEA).
Several tools on this site (such as the Practitioner Idea Generator and Verbatim Simulator) are powered by Artificial Intelligence. While designed to be educational, AI can occasionally generate inaccurate information or "hallucinate" facts. Students must apply critical thinking and cross-reference ideas with their class notes. Furthermore, as drama explores complex human experiences, user prompts may result in the AI generating intense or mature themes. Users are responsible for ensuring the prompts they enter are school-appropriate.
While we strive for academic accuracy, Stark Drama makes no guarantees regarding final exam grades or coursework moderation outcomes. The generative tools and guides are intended as stimuli, not as definitive grading rubrics.
The 3D Design Studio and Pocket Rehearsal tools are provided "as-is." We are not responsible for technical failures, loss of data within the browser, or hardware incompatibility.
All content, including the 3D "Bluecoat Actor" models, custom JavaScript rehearsal logic, and pedagogical toolkits, is the intellectual property of Stark Drama. Users are granted a limited license for personal, non-commercial educational use.
Stark Drama is designed with a "Privacy by Design" approach for student safety.
We do not require accounts, and we do not store personal student data, names, or school affiliations on our servers. All progress made in the Design Studio or Rehearsal tool remains in your browser's temporary local storage.
When you use our interactive AI tools, the text you type is sent securely to third-party providers (Google and OpenAI) to generate the response. Because we use secure developer APIs, your inputs are NOT used to train these AI models. However, for your own safety, you must never enter personal identifying information (such as your full name, address, passwords, or specific location) into the AI chat boxes.
The Pocket Rehearsal tool may request Microphone access for speech recognition. This audio is processed in real-time by your device and is never recorded or transmitted to Stark Drama.
